Valençay, its hall and its lights
The night flea market of Valençay opens on Friday 6 November and closes on Sunday 8. Part flea market, part car boot sale, it runs in the evening: stalls open in the late afternoon and stay busy well into the night, on the Place de la Halle and in the neighbouring streets of the town centre.
Several dozen sellers, professionals and private individuals, lay out antiques, old furniture, trinkets, crockery, books, vinyl records, vintage clothes, lamps and curiosities from every period. Refreshment bar and food on site, free entry.
The Valençay Avenir association runs the event.
From the Amboise quay to the Chartres hall
Saturday 07/11/2026, browsing starts early. In Amboise, the monthly professional flea market gathers about fifty dealers on the quai du Général de Gaulle, from 8 am to 6 pm, facing the royal castle and the Loire: old furniture, collector's crockery, paintings, period jewellery, rare books, Art Deco lamps. A visitors' car park is close by.
The Puces de Tours set up about thirty dealers on the place de la Victoire, from 8 am to noon, among old furniture, books, vinyl and crockery. In Orléans, the boulevard Alexandre Martin market gathers 50 to 110 sellers from 7:30 am to 3 pm: trinkets, household linen, collector's crockery, books, retro objects. The car park turns into a flea market every Saturday morning, a tradition since 1977.
Sunday 8 November, back under the hall in Chartres. The Rendez-vous des Chineurs places, under the organisation of OHVL International, 55 professional dealers under the Baltard hall of 1898 on the place Billard, renovated in 2013, a short walk from the cathedral. Small vintage furniture, vinyl, comic books, toys, jewellery and ceramics are on sale from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. On the banks of the Loire, the Mail Pierre Sudreau market in Blois welcomes 50 to 100 flea market dealers and antique sellers, all professionals, from 8 am to 6 pm, between the Jacques Gabriel bridge and the police station. Car park next door, food on site.
In Selles-sur-Cher, Brokaselles starts at 5:30 am on the town hall square, with 50 to 100 sellers, private and professional, until 5:30 pm, and a refreshment bar on site. The Brokaselles association runs it.
Families have their own sales. In Sancheville, in Eure-et-Loir, the toy, ski clothing and childcare sale gathers about 25 sellers in the village hall, from 10 am to 5 pm, free entry, with a refreshment bar on site. In Huisseau-sur-Cosson, the toy sale at the Caillaudière runs from 9 am to 5 pm, with a snack and activities for children.
In Saint-Hilaire-sur-Benaize, in the Indre, the tree fair and flea market pairs a market of plants, fruit trees and shrubs with a village flea market. Nurserymen and growers offer roses, perennials and bulbs, next to trinkets, old tools, crockery, books and garden furniture. Entry is free.
In Chartres as in Blois, entry is free for visitors.
