The apple festival in Sainte-Feyre
The apple festival boot sale brings together about 100 exhibitors, all private sellers, in the streets of Sainte-Feyre, a village next to Guéret. The festival committee runs it on Sunday, 1 November, from 7:30am to 6:30pm.
A pitch costs 5 euros for 6 linear metres, with no booking.
The boot sale comes with a producers' market: old local apple varieties, freshly pressed apple juice, fruit trees to plant, and black pudding in every form, with onions, chestnuts, apples or Creole-style.
Between the stalls, the smell of grilled black pudding mixes with hot apple juice. Thousands of visitors walk the village, and a refreshment stand and food are on site.
The festival celebrates the fruit of the Limousin autumn. Its 31st edition took place in 2025, and the boot sale, folded gradually into the programme, adds an easy-going place to browse.

In Sos, in Lot-et-Garonne, the monthly brocante spreads under the arcades and the market hall, with about 30 exhibitors from 8am to 6pm and more than 25 years behind it.
