The 27th meeting in Neuville-Saint-Rémy
The collectors' meeting in Neuville-Saint-Rémy takes place on Sunday, November 8, in the Pasteur Guillaumet hall, from 9 am to 6 pm. Entry is free.
It is the 27th edition.
The association Loisirs Neuville Collections, which runs the event, brings together about fifty exhibitors in this town of 4,000 people next to Cambrai.
The tables cover three main fields. Stamp collectors find stamps and first-day covers, coin collectors find coins and medals, postcard fans find cards of the Cambrésis. Then come figurines, pin badges, porcelain charms, advertising blotters and comic books.
Collections and flea markets, from Boulogne to Le Touquet
On the Opal Coast, the 22nd collectors' fair in Boulogne-sur-Mer runs for two days at the Espace Faïencerie, Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8 (7-8/11), in a heated, covered hall. Old postcards of the coast, coins, stamps, comics, figurines, militaria and vinyl records share the tables.
On Saturday, in the Mitterrand hall, the C+ traditions collectors' fair in Billy-Berclau, on the Lys plain between Béthune and La Bassée, lines up old postcards of the mining basin, stamps, coins, pin badges, enamel plaques and military figurines. It all happens in a covered hall. The association C+ traditions organises it. On Sunday, the multi-collections fair in Outreau, in the Boulogne area, opens for two days, with postcards, stamps, coins, medals, champagne capsules, pin badges and figurines. The second day falls on a Monday, November 9.
In Château-Thierry, the champagne capsule fair is held on the first Saturday of the month, from 1:30 pm to 6 pm, in the village hall. Between 50 and 100 placomusophiles, as collectors of champagne bottle caps are called, come to swap. Not a euro changes hands.
On Sunday, about forty dealers and antique sellers set up old furniture, objets d'art and trinkets under the covered market on rue Jean Monnet: these are the Puces du Touquet, held every second Sunday of the month. You browse sheltered from the weather.
