Éditeur web indépendant basé dans le Cantal, il a organisé pendant cinq ans un festival à Riom-ès-Montagnes. Depuis 2026, il tient plusieurs agendas culturels grand public, dont festivalenfrance.com, qui répertorie aujourd'hui plus de 10 000 festivals français. Il a aussi fondé Gocolo, spécialisé dans les colonies de vacances pour enfants et adolescents.
Valentin Contard écrit les fiches de festivalenfrance.com et de toutes-les-brocantes.fr. Chaque date d'édition passe par lui. Il relit aussi une partie des corrections que les visiteurs nous envoient, avant que Christophe ne les valide.
Il vit à Aurillac. Consultant SEO indépendant, il a tout appris seul, sans école ni formation dédiée. Christophe Contard et lui travaillent ensemble depuis une vingtaine d'années.
