A monthly fair in the heart of Haut-Bugey

The Monthly Fair of Oyonnax is a commercial and friendly event held every first Monday of the month in the parking lot of the Aragon Cultural Center / Valexpo. This traditional market brings together traveling merchants and flea market vendors offering a wide selection of products: tableware, textiles, trinkets, fabrics by the meter, and various items.

Oyonnax, capital of the Plastics Vallée

Located in the Haut-Bugey, in the heart of the Jura massif, Oyonnax is a dynamic industrial city, capital of the Plastics Vallée. With approximately 23,000 inhabitants, it is the second largest city in the Ain department. The monthly fair is part of the commercial tradition of this town, which also hosts a weekly market on Thursday mornings.

Organization and operation

The fair is open from 6 am to 5:30 pm from November to March and from 6 am to 6 pm from April to October. Vacant pitches are allocated by lottery on the morning of the event, with registration from 6 am to 8 am. No prior reservation is possible. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Please note: if the first Monday falls on a public holiday (January 1st, November 1st), the fair is postponed to the following Monday.
