In Occitanie, stalls go up on Saturday, October 17, 2026 and Sunday, October 18, from the Aveyron to the Haute-Garonne. Montbazens, two Sundays of bargain-hunting and a workshop clear-out

The flea market, car boot sale and workshop clear-out in Montbazens fills the Foirail-bas square and avenue du Colombier, in the Aveyron, from 6:30 am to 6 pm. The Anim'a Montbazens association brings together nearly 200 exhibitors: private sellers, professional dealers, artists and craftspeople.

Exhibitor access opens at 5 am.

The workshop clear-out sets it apart. Painters, sculptors, ceramicists, seamstresses and cabinetmakers sell off stock, prototypes, one-off pieces and end-of-line items, along with art supplies, trade tools and salvaged materials. The rest of the stalls run from old crockery to books, toys, trinkets and clothes. The event runs over two Sundays in October, and the 18th is the second. Entry is free, with refreshments and food on site. A pitch costs 12 € for 30 m², and registration is compulsory.

The town, about 1,400 inhabitants, is a former stonecutters' town: more than fifty craftsmen were recorded there in the Middle Ages. The Saint-Géraud church, built in the 12th century, has a fortified 15th-century bell tower. The town hall occupies the former prior's lodging, a Gothic building from the 16th century.

King cake charms, fabrics and chestnuts

In Le Fousseret, in the Haute-Garonne, fève collectors meet under the covered market hall on place du Paty for the fève exchange fair, from 9 am to 6 pm. They swap, buy and sell king cake charms in hand-painted porcelain, gilded or themed. Free entry. In Rignac, in the Aveyron, the Puces des Couturières and Creative Hobbies fair sets up about thirty exhibitors at the Espace André Jarlan, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm: fabrics, haberdashery, beads, wool, lace. The hall is heated and the refreshment stand open. The Récréa' Rignac association has run it since 2022.

In Gragnague, about fifteen kilometres east of Toulouse, the car boot sale of the Chestnut Festival spreads through the village centre under the local festivities committee, with roast chestnuts and mulled wine between the stalls. In Revel, a bastide founded in 1342, the Distrifringues autumn car boot sale offers clothes, shoes, accessories and household linen in the town centre from 9 am to 5:30 pm. Saint-Georges-d'Orques keeps bargain-hunters dry on both days: the Dragons du Coeur car boot sale is held indoors at the CCR Michel Colucci, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. A stall costs 8 € a day or 14 € for the two days.

On Saturday 17/10/2026 only, Corsavy, a Haut Vallespir village perched between 700 and 800 metres up, opens its autumn car boot sale in its lanes, facing the foothills of the Canigó. Free entry.

The third Sunday of the month

In Réquista, in the Aveyron, the monthly flea market shelters under the covered hall on place de la Poste, from 7 am to 1 pm, with pitches at 5 €. In Saint-Girons, in the Ariège, Les Puces du Champ de Mars take over the esplanade and bring together private sellers and professionals. Gaillac, in the Tarn, keeps its monthly market for about twenty professional dealers on place de la Libération, from 8 am to about 5 pm: old furniture, lamps, paintings, silverware, antique jewellery.

Free entry in Réquista, Saint-Girons and Gaillac.
