Flea markets and antique fairs in Hauts-de-France this weekend, September 26-27, 2026: the Escarmain Plum Fair blends secondhand stalls and fireworks, the Quinsions Neighbourhood Sale in Cuincy lines up 200, the Talmas Rederie 150.
They arrive at dawn, baskets and folding tables in hand. In Escarmain, in the Nord department, the Plum Fair opens its stalls on Saturday, September 26. Secondhand stalls, plum specialties and fireworks follow one another over two days, while the Quinsions Neighbourhood Sale lines up its vendors in Cuincy and the Talmas Rederie its own in the Somme.
The Plum Fair, Two Days in Escarmain
In Escarmain, a small town in the Nord department, the Plum Fair brings together a flea market and village festivities every year in late September, run by an association of the same name. The event takes over Place des Anciens Combattants on Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th (26-27/09/2026).
The flea market runs from 8am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday alike. Bargain hunters and sellers share the square, among old furniture, tableware and items gathered over the year.
The village seniors' club runs its own stall of tarts and jams made from plums, the fruit that gives the fair its name.
Rides and live shows fill out the rest of the program. Sunday closes with a fireworks display, capping two days of festivities on the village square.

The Rest of the Weekend
In the Lille metropolitan area, the Bourg Street Sale in Villeneuve-d'Ascq fills the historic Bourg district, the former village of Annappes, on Sunday the 27th, along Rue Jules Guesde and the surrounding streets. It's the metro area's second-largest city. In the Douai area, the Quinsions Neighbourhood Sale in Cuincy, run by Cuincy Loisirs Animations Culture, gathers 100 to 200 vendors along Avenue des Pins, at 2 euros for two meters of stall space, from 6am to 2pm.
On the collectors' side, the Cobrieux Collectors' Fair, in a small village in the Pévèle countryside between Orchies and Cysoing, is run by the association Les Amis de Cobrieux, founded in 1992, in the village hall. In Montdidier, a sub-prefecture in southern Somme, the Montdidier Multi-Collectors Fair brings together collectors, dealers and enthusiasts around postcards, stamps, coins, records, comic books, fèves, old toys and militaria.
In Picardy, the Talmas Autumn Rederie, run by the village's Sports and Leisure Association, keeps to its tradition of the fourth Sunday of September, with about 150 professional and private vendors from 8am to 6pm in the village center. Its spring rederie, held separately, stays set for May 10. In the Boulonnais area, the Samer Street Sale, run by the town's Comité des Fêtes, stretches from 8am to 8pm between the Claude Bally hall and Rue Jean Moulin. This picturesque town lies in the Liane valley, in the Pas-de-Calais department.
The Nouvion Rederie, an annual autumn event in this Ponthieu village northeast of Abbeville, keeps the free entry and light food stalls typical of a Picardy rederie. The Frocourt Flea Market, run by the association Frocourt en Fête, marks its fifth edition on Rue de la Serre and Rue du Moulin. This hamlet attached to Beauvais keeps a rural charm suited to browsing between the stalls. In the Aisne department, the Bucy-le-Long Flea Market, organized by the Judo Avenir 02 club, gathers 100 to 200 private and professional vendors at Place de la Mairie and Rue du Général de Gaulle, between Soissons and Vailly-sur-Aisne.
