Flea markets and antique fairs across Pays de la Loire this weekend, September 26-27, 2026: Challans' Grand Palais draws up to 400 vendors, alongside the Théâtre antique fair in Saumur and the P.C.A.P. fair in Commequiers.
Four hundred vendors. Challans' Grand Palais opens its doors on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Vendée, for its third date this year, inside this large event hall known locally as the capital of the Breton marshland of Vendée.
Challans' Grand Palais, a Third Date This Year
The Grand Palais of Challans reopens its aisles on Sunday, September 27, 2026 (09/27/2026), at 13 boulevard Viaud-Grand Marais, in Challans. Up to 400 vendors fill the entire available floor space. Entry stays free for visitors.
Two other sales have already filled this same hall in 2026: June 14 with the APE Saint-Exupéry association, then June 28 with the Pétanque Challandaise club. The late-September date closes out this run of three dates for the Grand Palais.
Furniture, dishware, clothing and secondhand toys line up under one large covered hall, sheltered from the weather.
The Rest of the Weekend
In Nantes, the Place Viarme flea market takes over the square every Saturday morning, from 8am to 1pm, with professional antique dealers offering old furniture, silverware and prints in one of the city's oldest markets, at the heart of Nantes, with vendors handpicked for the market. In Saumur, the Théâtre antique fair returns on this fourth Sunday of the month, at Place de la République, in the shadow of the Grand Théâtre, with antiques, secondhand goods and collectibles. The same fourth Saturday of the month, the Bel Accueil antique fair sets up in Baugé-en-Anjou, in Maine-et-Loire, near the town's Anjou cross, in this stretch of Angevin countryside.
In Mayenne, the Amicale laïque of Argentré holds its back-to-school flea market in this town on Laval's outskirts, drawing local vendors and visitors from across the area. In Gorron, in the north of Mayenne, the flea market pairs with the town's autumn fair and its funfair tradition, drawing around a hundred vendors. In Sarthe, the Brûlon farm show bric-a-brac, one of the town's biggest and most anticipated events, runs from 6am to 11pm, free of charge for vendors.
In Vendée, the P.C.A.P. fair in Commequiers, organized by the Pays des Canaux, Amateurs et Passionnés, marks its 19th edition, nineteen years of expertise serving collectors from Vendée and neighboring areas around postcards, coins, stamps, old paper items and advertising memorabilia. In Mouchamps, a community-run gathering, the autumn flea market follows April's edition and carries on the village flea-market tradition of the Vendée bocage, mixing private sellers with a handful of professionals.
