The Vide-Grenier de Bucy-le-Long: Bargain hunting in the Aisne Valley

Every last Sunday of September, the village of Bucy-le-Long hosts its annual car boot sale on the Place de la Mairie and the rue du Général de Gaulle. Organized by the Judo Avenir 02 club, this event brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, for a day of outdoor bargain hunting.

A village between Soissons and the Chemin des Dames

Bucy-le-Long is a commune in the Aisne valley, located a few kilometers east of Soissons, at the foot of the Chemin des Dames plateau. This village, marked by the history of the First World War, offers a peaceful setting between the river and the hills. The rue du Général de Gaulle, the main artery of the village, is perfectly suited for setting up flea market stalls.

A sporting event for local judo

The organization of this flea market by the Judo Avenir 02 club is part of a fundraising initiative for local sports activities. Catering is provided by the organization, allowing the club to finance its activities and the training of its young judokas. Rides and entertainment for children complete the offerings of this family day.
