Large autumn réderie in the heart of the Picard plateau
The Talmas Autumn Réderie takes place on Sunday 27 September 2026, the traditional fourth Sunday of September. From 8am to 6pm in the village centre, about 150 exhibitors (professionals, private sellers and residents) set up in the streets for this event organised by the Talmas Sports and Leisure Association (ASL). Distinct from the 10 May spring réderie, this autumn edition is one of the finest rural réderies of northern Somme. Free entry.
Each year, Talmas hosts two major réderies: one in spring (10 May in 2026), the other in autumn. The 2026 autumn edition takes place on Sunday 27 September, the fourth Sunday of the month as local tradition dictates. The Sports and Leisure Association (ASL) of Talmas, as organiser, mobilises its volunteers to welcome around 150 exhibitors — a balanced mix of professionals, private sellers and village residents, which gives the event its richness and variety.
With 150 stands spread across the village centre, the Talmas Réderie is one of the largest in northern Somme. Open from 8am to 6pm, it allows unhurried bargain hunting all day long. The ASL manages the organisation expertly: signage, welcome, parking, on-site catering, drinks stand. Exhibitors book their spot in advance, which ensures a good variety of stalls and a smooth distribution along the streets.
The presence of professionals alongside private sellers ensures a high qualitative level: antique furniture, tableware, paintings, lighting and collectibles from the dealers; classic vide-grenier items (clothing, toys, books, records, trinkets) from private sellers; sometimes unusual items from residents bringing out family treasures. Both lovers of real antiques and hunters of bargains find what they seek.
Talmas is a village of about 700 inhabitants, 20 km north of Amiens on the Picard plateau. The open landscape of large-scale farming stretches as far as the eye can see, dotted with village churches and traditional farmhouses. Access is via the D933 from Amiens or the D11 from Doullens. The village's associative dynamic, led by the ASL, is remarkable and shapes much of local life.
The Talmas Réderie is carried by the ASL's volunteer commitment: a structured team, a well-oiled welcome and a real editorial line for the event. Catering is provided by the volunteers (grilled food, fries, pancakes, drinks) and the proceeds fund the association's sports and leisure activities throughout the year. Coming to Talmas also means supporting this local dynamic.
