The twinning committee's sale in Itteville
On Sunday, October 18, the Marcel Cerdan multipurpose hall hosts the 17th edition of the Itteville sale. Between 80 and 120 sellers set up inside. Admission is free.
The Comité de Jumelage runs the day every year in October. For decades the association has kept up exchanges with partner towns in Germany, and the sale is one of its main fundraisers: the proceeds go toward those exchanges, made of visits and shared cultural events. Sellers register with the committee.
Everything happens indoors, which matters when October weather stays uncertain.
Itteville has about 6,000 residents and lies between Arpajon and La Ferté-Alais, and the village keeps its stone houses. The D191 from Arpajon and the D449 from La Ferté-Alais lead to the hall, parking is available nearby, and Lardy station, on the RER C, is about 10 kilometres away.
