About Autumn Clothing Fair
The La Queue-les-Yvelines autumn-winter clothing fair is the autumn counterpart to the spring exchange, organised each late October over a weekend by the La Bonnette Leisure Foyer. This charitable and ecological event lets local families equip themselves for winter at low prices, in a warm community atmosphere.
The autumn exchange, essential before winter
Like many village associations, the La Bonnette Leisure Foyer has developed over the years a double programme of clothing fairs: in spring to prepare for summer, in autumn to anticipate the cold. This regularity makes it a structuring event of the local calendar.
Rigorous two-day organisation
The autumn-winter fair runs over a Saturday and Sunday, with clothes brought in advance by residents then sorted, classified and stocked by volunteers.
What you'll find
The focus is on warm clothing suited to the cold season: coats, down jackets, wool sweaters, scarves, hats, gloves, thick trousers, boots, winter shoes, warm pyjamas.
