The La Queue-les-Yvelines spring-summer clothing fair is an eagerly awaited event for local residents, held each April over two days at Salle de la Bonnette by the Leisure Foyer. This solidarity-based exchange lets families renew their wardrobes at low cost as warm days approach, in an approach that is economic, ecological and friendly.
A clothing exchange deeply rooted in local life
For many years, the La Bonnette Leisure Foyer has organised two major annual clothing fairs in La Queue-les-Yvelines: one in spring for the spring-summer season, another in autumn for autumn-winter. This biannual format meets a real need: allowing families to find affordable clothing for each season, in a reasoned consumption approach.
A two-day event
The fair runs over a full weekend, allowing residents to find their slot between Saturday and Sunday. Clothes deposited beforehand by residents are sorted, classified and displayed by volunteers according to type, size and season.
