Large professional flea market under the Halle and in the streets of Figeac in spring
Each spring, the medieval town of Figeac beats to the rhythm of its grand professional flea market. The Association des Brocanteurs du Figeacois, led by Pascal Martin, deploys an event in the most emblematic locations of Figeac's town center, attracting buyers from all over the Lot department and neighboring areas.
The spring flea market takes over three complementary areas in the historic center of Figeac: Place Carnot with its magnificent medieval Halle, which houses stands protected from the weather; Rue de la République, which extends the treasure hunt route; and Place Champollion, named after the decipherer of Egyptian hieroglyphs, which completes this open-air setup. Together, they form a coherent and pleasant circuit for strolling through the heart of the town, allowing visitors to combine their flea market visit with the discovery of Figeac's medieval architecture.
Approximately 50 professional flea market dealers participate in this large spring event. Specializing in antiques, old furniture, collectible items, glassware, ceramics, and decorative arts, these professionals offer quality pieces at prices reflecting their market value. The presence of professionals guarantees a coherent and high-level offering, distinguishing this flea market from simple car boot sales. Savvy collectors and interior designers regularly find beautiful items here.
The Association des Brocanteurs du Figeacois brings together flea market professionals from the Figeac area. It organizes several major events throughout the year: the spring flea market, the July flea market, the grand August flea market, the All Saints' Day flea market, and the grand Christmas flea market. This regular schedule makes Figeac a major flea market destination in the Lot, recognized by professional buyers and passionate individuals alike. For any information, the association can be contacted at [email protected].
