The MASK committee runs the Mordelles flea market on September 13, through the streets of the town centre. From Place des Muletiers to the shopping streets beyond, more than 1,200 pitches of two linear metres each spread through this town west of Rennes.

Mordelles Animation Sport Kulture runs the event, a sports and cultural association that has grown its back-to-school sale over the years. Pitches are counted by the linear metre, from the pavement edges to the shopping streets of the town, where private sellers clearing out an attic mix with professional dealers who trade there year-round. Bargain hunters and locals return every year.
One date only, 13/09/2026. Each edition aims for a festive, neighbourly mood, a short drive from central Rennes.
The rest of the weekend
Two different formats share the same date south of Rennes. In Bain-de-Bretagne, the autumn-winter clothing sale gathers more than 300 sellers at the village hall, Saturday from 9.30am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, with clothes from age 14 upward, shoes from size 35 upward, plus maternity and sports wear dropped off by appointment. In Bédée, in the Montfort-sur-Meu area, around 300 sellers set up their Brad'Tout along Rue de Rennes and through the town centre, from 6am to 6pm, for bargains of every kind.
In Dinan, the Kuzul association runs its flea market in aid of the Diwan school, on the Promenade des Petits Fossés, below the town's castle and medieval ramparts: between 50 and 100 private sellers offer clothes, games, crockery, plants and assorted items. In Ploemeur, the local basketball club holds its car boot sale facing the Anse du Stole beach, at Lomener, one of the finest beaches in Morbihan. In Theix-Noyalo, some forty volunteers from the Roz'Anim association set up their own sale, from 9am to 6pm, in the gardens of the Roz-Avel care home, free entry, in aid of residents.
In Rennes, on Place Simone de Beauvoir, more than 300 private sellers offer clothes, toys and knick-knacks at the Simone flea market, indoors and out, with a refreshment stand and toilets on site.
In Louvigné-du-Désert, on the edge of Normandy, the car boot sale marks its 12th edition at the Salle Yves Derieux.
