Fifty sellers, one Saturday before autumn. Sarrola-Carcopino, just outside Ajaccio, opens its old stadium to secondhand traders every Saturday from April to October, including 12 September 2026. The big antique fair of Sarrola-Carcopino
The place never changes. The big antique fair of Sarrola-Carcopino takes over the old ASPTT stadium every Saturday, from April to October, a few minutes from central Ajaccio along the road to Vico. On 12/09/2026, organiser SAS Piétri, based on site, expects around fifty sellers, from 8am to 6pm.
Furniture, crockery, clothes, toys and antiques spread across the whole ground, between the stands and the changing rooms turned into storage for the day. Entry stays free. A pitch costs 15 euros for sellers who unpack at dawn, while the bar and toilets already welcome the first arrivals. Five hundred parking spaces, unmatched elsewhere in the area for a flea market, absorb Saturday morning's crowd.
Nothing else in southern Corsica matches this weekend. No other weekly market reaches this number of sellers or offers as many amenities on one site, between the bar serving drinks all day and the pine shade covering part of the ground, useful while September afternoons still climb past twenty-five degrees.
The rest of the weekend across Corsica
Three addresses carry most of Sunday's activity. In Ajaccio, the Boulevard Pascal Rossini flea market gathers around thirty sellers every Sunday morning, opposite the lycée and the municipal pool. The stalls never thin out. In Bastia, the Place Saint-Nicolas Sunday market lines up around thirty professional and private sellers, antique furniture and collectibles included, facing the sea in the historic centre. In Calvi, the Route de Calenzana flea market keeps its Sunday slot all year, weather permitting.
In the Balagne, the Aregno flea market sets up every Sunday morning opposite Algajola beach, between the sea and the scrubland. In the Casinca, the Venzolasca market runs on Friday and Saturday at the Arena site, between local residents and holidaymakers from the eastern plain. Another village, the same ritual. In Borgo, the Route de la Gare car boot sale takes in around fifty sellers every Sunday, from 6am to midday, at 10 euros a pitch. Near Bastia, in Furiani, the weekly flea market at the COSEC car park opens at 6:45am on Saturdays. It sits on the Route de la Marana, run by the U Felinu association.
On the Costa Verde, the Moriani Plage market gathers around forty professional sellers every Saturday, between sea and mountains. In Porticcio, the \"Pas un Radis\" giving day sells nothing at all, it swaps clothes, household goods and equipment for free on the second Sunday of the month, between donors and recipients brought together by the ASCP Rive Sud association. It runs from 9am to midday. Its first editions drew around twenty donors and a hundred participants around the school car park.
In Sarrola-Carcopino, access to the ground stays free for visitors, all afternoon, until the site closes at 6pm.
