Every Saturday morning, the parking lot in front of the COSEC in Furiani, on the Route de la Marana, transforms into a flea market. Organized by the local association U Felinu, this popular flea market welcomes exhibitors from 6:45 am for setup. It is one of the most accessible weekly flea market events in the Bastia area, a few kilometers from Bastia city center.

U Felinu, the organizing association

U Felinu — whose name means "The Feline" in Corsican — is the association that has been organizing and managing this weekly flea market for several years. Thanks to its regular commitment, it offers the inhabitants of Furiani and neighboring communes a friendly weekly event for selling, buying, and bargain hunting in a relaxed atmosphere. Exhibitor registration is done on-site on Saturday mornings from 6:45 am.

Notably known for the sporting tragedy of May 1992 during a football match, Furiani is today a dynamic residential commune in the Bastia suburbs.
