Over 10,000 stalls at the Grand Braderie de Lille
The Grand Braderie de Lille runs on 5-6 September 2026, as it does every first weekend of September. Over 10,000 stalls, professional dealers, antique sellers and households alike, fill the city centre, Vieux-Lille and the Wazemmes district, across more than a hundred kilometres of pavement.

The event ranks among the most popular in France. Two to three million visitors walk the stalls of professional dealers, antique sellers and households each year, which its organisers call the largest flea market in Europe.
No other date in the region comes close. The Longueau autumn rederie, the biggest runner-up, gathers 800 stalls through the town centre of this Somme commune, along Rue Louis Prot, Rue Anatole France and Rue Victor Camélina; most village sales across the five departments settle between fifty and two hundred stalls.
Sales and markets across the Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Oise and Aisne
Hem holds its Hem en fête sale on Saturday 5 September, as it does every first Saturday of September. Clothes and household goods spread out from 8am to 4pm along Rue du Général Leclerc, Rue Coubronne, Place de la République, Avenue Delecroix and Rue Jules Guesde, in this town of 19,000 between Roubaix and Lys-lez-Lannoy. The next day, in Saint-Saulve, the Marais district committee sets up around 500 stalls along Rue Victor Hornez, Rue Henri Durre and Place Carnot for one of the biggest flea markets in the Valenciennes area.
In the former mining basin, on Saturday, the Flowers district flea market takes over Rue des Lilas in Courrières, a neighbourhood gathering rather than a large fair. In Valdampierre, in the Pays de Bray, the flea market spans both days of the weekend, a back-to-school date in the farmland of north-west Oise.
The Aisne lines up two very different events. The first Saturday of the month brings Château-Thierry's champagne-capsule collectors' fair: fifty to a hundred enthusiasts, gathered by Gérard Claude, trade at the town hall on Rue de Fère from 1.30pm to 6pm. On Sunday, the Séry-lès-Mézières flea market sets up stalls on Rue Neuve, with a pizza food truck and a bouncy castle, in this village of northern Aisne between Laon and Guise.
