The big annual car boot sale of Bédée organized by the APEE of public schools, 300 exhibitors
Every year in September, the village of Bédée hosts the Brad'Tout, a car boot sale exclusively for private individuals. Around 300 exhibitors set up along Rue de Rennes and the adjacent streets of the town center, offering clothes, toys, books, crockery, small furniture, and various items at attractive prices. The event opens as early as 6 am for early birds and continues until 6 pm, giving everyone time to find a bargain.
The Association des Parents d'Élèves des écoles publiques de Bédée (APEEP) passionately organizes this event. The profits raised fund educational projects and school trips for the children of the town. On-site, a refreshment stand and a food stall offer galettes-saucisses, crêpes, and cold drinks. Restrooms are available for exhibitors and visitors. The atmosphere is decidedly family-friendly and good-natured.
A small town of 4,000 inhabitants located between Rennes and Montfort-sur-Meu, Bédée is a village with discreet but endearing heritage. Its church, its schist houses, and its proximity to the forest of Brocéliande make it a sought-after place to live. The Brad'Tout contributes to the animation of the village and the strengthening of social ties between the families of the town.
From Rennes, take the N12 towards Saint-Brieuc then the D72 towards Bédée (25 km). Parking is signposted.
