The Lanmeur car boot sale takes place on Sunday October 18 in the Steredenn hall. It opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. Entry costs 1 euro.
About thirty sellers empty their attics there. Clothes for the whole family, decoration, trinkets, crockery, books and small pieces of furniture change hands, and a refreshment bar with light food stays open on site all day.
Lanmeur is a village in the Morlaix area, in northern Finistère, whose church, Merovingian cemetery and 6th-century crypt are remarkable. The coast and the Penzé estuaries are a few kilometres away, and the village serves as a starting point for exploring the Léon and the Trégor.
The village holds two car boot sales a year. The other takes place in August.
In the same Morlaix area, Ti MicMac, in Saint-Martin-des-Champs, receives visitors this Sunday from 2.30 to 6.30 p.m., once the Lanmeur morning is over.

On Saturday October 17, the All Saints school holidays begin. Les Trésors du Grenier, in Plomelin near Quimper, opens from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., public holidays included: 200 stands over 1,200 m² of covered floor, with furniture, crockery, toys, baby gear, vintage pieces and a dressing area with fitting rooms. Entry is free, and so is parking. Ti MicMac, in Saint-Martin-des-Champs near Morlaix, between a Total station and Mobilier de France, also opens from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with furniture, clothes, crockery, appliances, paintings, records and tools in rotation.
On Sunday, Les Trésors du Grenier closes at 6 p.m.
Des Secondes Vies, in Daoulas, in the former Atelier Concept premises, opens Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., with clothes, toys, games and books on the shelves.
On Sunday October 18, in Briec, a Pays Glazik town of about 5,000 inhabitants, the AFM-Téléthon car boot sale gives the day's takings, stand fees included, to the charity fighting neuromuscular diseases. Private sellers offer clothes, toys, books and crockery.
The same day, the autumn braderie in Plouasne, between Dinan and Rennes, opens at 5 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m., with 200 to 300 stallholders, free entry, food and a refreshment bar on site. The Comité des fêtes organises it on the town hall square and in the village centre.
