The Brocante de Val-Fouzon takes place on the Place Saint-Jean in Varennes-sur-Fouzon, from 7 am to 6 pm. Exhibitors, both professionals and individuals, offer furniture, tableware, trinkets, old tools, toys, books, clothing, household linen, and various flea market items. The space is free for exhibitors, encouraging a wide diversity of stalls. A farmers' market complements the event with local products from Berry: cheeses, honeys, jams, seasonal vegetables, and artisanal charcuterie.
Val-Fouzon is a new commune formed by the merger of several villages along the Fouzon river, in the north of the Indre department. The main town, Varennes-sur-Fouzon, retains an endearing rural heritage with its central square, church, and stone houses. The commune is located on the border of Cher and Indre, in a transitional area between the Champagne berrichonne and the Sologne, a region of forests and ponds. Its proximity to Valençay and its famous Renaissance château makes it a popular tourist area.
The brocante de Val-Fouzon offers fast food and a bar on-site. Entry is free for visitors. The event is organized by the association Concept Val-Fouzon.
The Brocante de Val-Fouzon returns on May 17, 2026, to Place Saint-Jean.
