On September 19-20, 2026, flea markets and antique fairs fill the calendar in Burgundy-Franche-Comté: two hundred stallholders at Nuits-Saint-Georges, and the Decize flea market marking its 43rd edition in 2025.

The L'Aile et la Cuisse association organises the Nuits-Saint-Georges car boot sale every September, at the town's Halles and in the Jardin des Buttes, rue de la Berchère, an event that runs across two days between covered space and the open air, in the heart of the Côte-d'Or.
Two days of browsing follow one another in September. Around two hundred stallholders set up for the occasion, a figure that puts this event among the best-attended of the weekend in Burgundy-Franche-Comté.
The association carries the curious name L'Aile et la Cuisse, "the wing and the thigh".
Entry stays free and no booking is required from visitors, who move freely between the covered aisles and the stalls in the neighbouring garden. The funds raised by the organising association are then donated, once the weekend ends.
The rest of the weekend, between charity sales and village fairs
Three events bring Côte-d'Or to life this weekend. In Villers-les-Pots, the Emmaüs Dijon community holds its street sale on the third Sunday of the month, from 9am to 5pm. A wide choice of furniture, clothes, crockery, books, appliances and trinkets is sold there at charity prices, true to the ethos of the Emmaüs movement. In Dijon's antiques quarter, the Quartier Rousseau fair brings together its exclusively professional traders on rue Auguste Comte, rue Chaudronnerie and in front of the Halles Champeaux, from 8am to 6pm, with free entry for visitors. In Beaune, the market square fair opens as it does every Saturday morning on Place Carnot, a stone's throw from the Hôtel-Dieu, reserved for professional dealers in antiques, furniture, vintage design, trinkets, militaria and collectables, from 9am to 12.30pm.
Three events in the Nièvre round out Sunday's programme. In Imphy, the Comité des Fêtes sets up its autumn fair at the Espace de Loisirs Amphélia, Champ des Peupliers, with free horse-drawn carriage rides, a drinks stand and food on site, for pitches priced at 5 euros per three metres. In Marzy, a town bordering Nevers, the local Comité des Fêtes runs its own fair in the town centre, with food and drink to match. In Decize, a sub-prefecture in the southern Nièvre, the Tir Sportif club organises its flea market on the banks of the Loire, at the village hall and allée Marcel Merle, on the third weekend of September every year, with pitches priced at 8 euros for two metres for the whole weekend. This event already marked its 43rd edition last year.
Three further events also take place on Sunday. In the Doubs, the monthly Jean Jack car boot sale opens at 6am on Place du Marché in Audincourt, until 5pm, with clothes, trinkets, crockery, books and toys sold by private sellers and traders alike. In the Yonne, the village of Piffonds holds the second annual edition of its car boot sale at the wash-house car park, in rural surroundings between the Sénonais and Jovinien areas, following a first edition held in May. In the Territoire de Belfort, the Châtenois-les-Forges fire brigade association holds its annual car boot sale at the fire station, rue des Martinets, reserved for private sellers, in this village of 900 residents between Belfort and Montbéliard.
