Le Pertuis lines up 250 stalls and La Garde-Adhémar hunts from its clifftop: the June 20-21 flea-market weekend in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

250 sellers at Le Pertuis, the Foire à la Trouvaille in one of France's most beautiful villages at La Garde-Adhémar: eleven annual flea markets to hunt on June 20 and 21.

Third weekend of June, and the region moves into the heart of its hunting season. On June 20 and 21, 2026, it isn't the routine weekly flea markets that make the event, but a wave of big annual gatherings: occasions held just once a year, where a whole village empties its attics and the crowds reach far beyond the local circle. Our pick of the week goes to Le Pertuis, in Haute-Loire, whose June flea market remains one of the largest in the department.

From the Drôme's Tricastin to the Savoy Bauges, by way of the Cantal chestnut country and the Forez plain, here are eleven flea markets and yard sales picked out for this Saturday and Sunday. A tour by scale and interest, to plan a hunter's route.

Le Pertuis Flea Market & Yard Sale, one of the biggest in Haute-Loire

Sunday June 21, the lorry car park of Le Pertuis village hosts one of the largest flea markets in Haute-Loire. Every third Sunday of June, nearly 250 sellers set up from 5 am for this event run by the local parents' association. Private sellers (€5 for 5 metres) and professionals (€15 for 10 metres) rub shoulders until 5 pm. For early-rising hunters, the sheer size of the spread justifies the trip up onto the Velay plateau on its own. At this scale you come for the whole day, not a quick stop: the range of goods, from furniture to bric-a-brac, changes from one aisle to the next. See the Le Pertuis flea market.

Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf Flea Market, along the Rhône (Loire)

Sunday June 21, the Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf flea market spreads around 120 sellers along the towpath and Rue du Chamcalot, in this village on the banks of the Rhône. Run by the Festival Committee, it runs from 8 am to 5.30 pm, with sellers setting up from 6 am. Pitches cost €2.50 per metre, with food on site and parking nearby. The riverside setting makes wandering pleasant: you hunt along the water, among furniture, crockery and everyday objects. A human-scale yet well-stocked format, ideal for a Sunday of hunting without the crush of big urban clearance sales.

Monst3rueux Yard Sale of Moidieu-Détourbe (Isère)

Sunday June 21, the sports complex of Moidieu-Détourbe, on Route de l'Oasis, hosts the Monst3rueux yard sale, an annual northern-Isère fixture with a deliberately offbeat name. Behind the wordplay the ambition is real: to put on a large open-air yard sale, with a wide choice of second-hand goods in a festive, family atmosphere. Free entry. For hunters in the Vienne and Bièvre area, it is one of the month's highlights, easily combined with the other Isère events of the weekend. Its scale and open-air setting make it a genuine morning destination, under the June sun.

Malintrat Yard Sale, 22nd edition (Puy-de-Dôme)

Sunday June 21, the Malintrat yard sale celebrates its 22nd edition at the Zone de Loisirs la Motte, on Rue Jean-Baptiste Merle. Twenty-two years of existence speaks to how deeply rooted the event is in the Limagne calendar. The Zone de Loisirs la Motte offers a vast open-air space, ideal for hosting sellers and visitors in a green setting on the edge of Clermont-Ferrand. For Clermont residents it is a chance to hunt close to the city without a long drive, at an event polished by more than two decades of practice. See the Malintrat yard sale.

Foire à la Trouvaille of La Garde-Adhémar, hunting in one of France's most beautiful villages (Drôme)

Sunday June 21, the Foire à la Trouvaille is held in La Garde-Adhémar, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Perched on its rocky spur overlooking the Tricastin plains, the village offers an unrivalled architectural and scenic backdrop for this annual flea market and yard sale. Between the 12th-century Romanesque collegiate church and the views over the Rhône valley, hunting here takes on a special flavour: you come as much for the setting as for the objects. For anyone who likes to pair brocante with heritage, it is the most photogenic stop of the weekend in the Drôme Provençale.

Scourtinerie Yard Sale of Nyons (Drôme)

Sunday June 21, on Place de la Libération in Nyons, the Scourtinerie yard sale gathers private sellers and brocante lovers around an emblematic site of the Drôme Provençale. The event is organised in connection with the Scourtinerie, a landmark of the local olive-growing heritage, and its museum of the olive and local traditions. Beyond the hunting, the event tells a story of craftsmanship: that of scourtins, the fibre discs used to press olives. A friendly village-scale yard sale, perfect for combining bargains with the discovery of a rare artisanal heritage, in the heart of the Nyons olive country.

Lescheraines Yard Sale, beside the Chéran (Savoy)

Sunday June 21, the parents' association 1,2,3 Soleil holds its annual yard sale at the Îles du Chéran leisure base in Lescheraines, in the heart of the Bauges massif. This family event takes place in an exceptional natural setting, between river and mountains. Sellers offer a wide selection of second-hand goods, while visitors enjoy the warm atmosphere and the site's outdoor activities. It is one of the few yard sales in the region where hunting comes with a genuine nature outing: you can round off the morning with a swim or a walk along the Chéran. See the Lescheraines yard sale.

Massiac Flea Market & Yard Sale (Cantal)

Sunday June 21, the Massiac flea market and yard sale takes over Place du Docteur Marcellin Moret, in the town centre of this commune in north-eastern Cantal. Run by the A.G.S.o association, the event gathers around fifty sellers, professionals and private alike, from across Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. From 7 am to 7 pm, visitors hunt through brocante, collectibles and assorted objects, with opening hours generous enough to leave plenty of time to dig. Massiac, a stop in the Alagnon valley between Auvergne and the Margeride, enjoys a crossroads position that draws a wide crowd. A solid town flea market, held several times over the summer.

Lacapelle-Viescamp Yard Sale, at the gateway to the Cère gorges (Cantal)

Sunday June 21, the Lacapelle-Viescamp yard sale animates the village of this Cantal commune, set between Aurillac and Laroquebrou, at the gateway to the Cère gorges. The annual event brings together private sellers who offer a wide choice of second-hand goods in the village streets. Entry is free. A small chestnut-country bourg, Lacapelle-Viescamp enjoys a green setting, close to its reservoir lake popular in summer. For hunters in the Aurillac basin, it is a local outing in a mid-mountain backdrop, far from the bustle of the big urban events.

Saint-André-de-Boëge Yard Sale, in the Vallée Verte (Haute-Savoie)

Sunday June 21, Saint-André-de-Boëge hosts its summer yard sale in the village centre, in the heart of the Vallée Verte. This village event brings sellers and hunters together in a pastoral setting between alpine pastures and forests, at the foot of the Voirons massif. It is an authentic hunting date, in one of the best-preserved corners of the Faucigny, where you come as much for the atmosphere as for the finds. Away from the major tourist routes of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, Saint-André-de-Boëge offers a quiet interlude, ideal for hunters who avoid the crowds. See the Saint-André-de-Boëge yard sale.

Salt-en-Donzy Yard Sale, in the Forez plain (Loire)

Sunday June 21, the Salt-en-Donzy yard sale runs from 5.30 am to 5.30 pm in the car park of the village hall, on Rue du Pavillon. Pitches cost €6 per space (vehicle and trailer), and parking is free for visitors. This village of the Forez plain, set between Feurs and Montbrison, offers a pleasant rural setting for an unpretentious day of hunting. The generous opening hours, from early morning to late afternoon, give browsers all the time they need to return to the stalls more than once. A good option for Loire-area hunters who prefer village yard sales to big clearance fairs.
