The Temps'Danse Car Boot Sale

The Temps'Danse dance association of Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Côte organizes its car boot sale every spring at the communal gymnasium. This mixed indoor-outdoor format allows for a large number of exhibitors to be accommodated regardless of the weather. Inside the gymnasium, the stalls benefit from a covered and heated space with the possibility of provided tables. Outside, the open-air pitches are offered without prior reservation. Individuals sell clothes, toys, crockery, books, small furniture, trinkets, tools, records, and decorative objects.

An Event to Support Dance

The funds raised from exhibitor registrations and the refreshment stand help finance the activities of the Temps'Danse association throughout the year: rental of rooms for dance classes, purchase of costumes for shows, participation in regional competitions, and organization of the end-of-year gala. Temps'Danse offers classes for all ages and levels, from physical awakening for the youngest to ballroom dancing for adults. Participating in this car boot sale, whether as an exhibitor or a visitor, directly supports the cultural and associative life of the village.

Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Côte, a Village in the Bièvre Plain

Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Côte is a rural commune of about 2,000 inhabitants located in the Bièvre plain, between Grenoble and Vienne, a few kilometers from La Côte-Saint-André, the birthplace of composer Hector Berlioz. The communal gymnasium, the venue for the event, offers a comfortable and well-equipped space, with parking nearby for both visitors and exhibitors.

Practical Information for Exhibitors

Three options are offered to exhibitors: indoor with a provided table at €4 per linear meter, indoor without a table at €3 per linear meter, and outdoor at €2.50 per linear meter without prior reservation. Doors open at 7 a.m. for the earliest visitors. Bring change and a large bag to carry your finds.
