Annual flea market fair in Brioude, organized by Collector63
Several times a year — in spring, summer, and autumn — Collector63 organizes its flea market and car boot sale fairs on Boulevard Docteur Devins and Boulevard Vercingétorix in Brioude. Professionals and individuals meet on this rehabilitated avenue to offer flea market items, antiques, and second-hand goods. A regular event that energizes this district of Brioude.
Located in Auvergne, the association Collector63 organizes several flea market fairs in the region, including a regular cycle in Brioude, the capital of the arrondissement of the same name in Haute-Loire. These markets, held on several dates throughout the year, take place on Boulevard Docteur Devins and Boulevard Vercingétorix, recently rehabilitated avenues in the Brivadois district.
The configuration chosen by the municipality of Brioude and Collector63 distinguishes between two types of offerings: Boulevard Docteur Devins hosts professionals in flea markets and antiques, while Boulevard Vercingétorix is dedicated to car boot sales by individuals. This organization allows each audience to find what they are looking for: collectible items and quality antique furniture on one side, second-hand items at accessible prices on the other.
With 4 to 5 editions per year (May, July, August, September, October), Collector63 provides Brioude with regular flea market activity that energizes the district. Each edition brings together an average of 25 professional exhibitors from all over Auvergne, supplemented by individuals for the car boot sales. The markets start at 7 am and end around 5 pm-6 pm, offering long hours to browse at your own pace.
The choice of Boulevard Docteur Devins and Boulevard Vercingétorix is not insignificant: the town of Brioude wanted to liven up this area undergoing revitalization after major roadworks. Flea market fairs are an effective tool for urban animation, attracting people to the district and creating positive commercial momentum. Brioude, a remarkable medieval town with its Saint-Julien collegiate church, thus benefits from an offering that complements its tourist heritage.
