Annual flea market in the spa town of Landes
Every year in September, the spa town of Eugénie-les-Bains hosts its traditional car boot sale, organized by the association Anim'Eugénie. This village in the Landes, made famous by Michelin-starred chef Michel Guérard and its thermal establishments, offers an exceptional setting for a day of treasure hunting and good deals.
The car boot sale of Eugénie-les-Bains welcomes both individuals and professionals. Exhibitors set up from 6 am, while visitors can browse and find bargains throughout the day. Registration is via a form to be collected and returned to the Tourist Office, along with a copy of an ID and payment.
Eugénie-les-Bains, the only thermal village in the Landes, takes its name from Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III. The commune of about 500 inhabitants is a jewel of Tursan, known for its well-kept gardens and its art of living. The car boot sale fits perfectly into this atmosphere, combining strolling, discovery, and conviviality.
Food is available on-site by the association, allowing visitors to extend their day in a warm atmosphere.
