Élan Tursan Basket, a basketball club founded in 2007 from the merger of the Geaune, Pimbo, and Saint-Loubouer clubs, organizes a grand car boot sale every summer on rue du Vieux Bourg in Saint-Loubouer. The event, which recently celebrated its 25th edition, has become a must-attend fixture on the Tursan summer calendar.

Mussels and fries and live music

The originality of this car boot sale lies in its festive atmosphere: a mussels and fries meal is offered at lunchtime, accompanied by live musical entertainment. The music group creates a friendly atmosphere that transforms the day of treasure hunting into a true village festival. The refreshment stand and sandwiches complete the food offering.

Saint-Loubouer and Tursan

Saint-Loubouer is a village in Tursan, a hilly region in the Landes department between Mont-de-Marsan and Béarn. The exhibitor fee of 3 euros per linear meter remains very affordable, allowing for approximately 55 exhibitors along rue du Vieux Bourg. The proceeds finance the basketball club's activities for the sports season.
