Every summer, the small village of Saint-Loubouer, nestled in the heart of Tursan in the Landes, hosts its traditional open-air car boot sale. Organized by Élan Tursan Basket, this event brings together around 105 exhibitors along rue du Vieux Bourg, offering visitors a wide selection of second-hand items, trinkets, clothing, and all sorts of finds.

A Friendly Day in Tursan Country

The atmosphere is resolutely family-friendly and relaxed. The exhibitors, mainly individuals, set up their stalls from the morning to offer their treasures to early bargain hunters. The day is punctuated by a country-style meal served at midday, a real moment of conviviality where local specialties are enjoyed in the shade of the plane trees.

A Village with Authentic Charm

Saint-Loubouer, a commune of about 400 inhabitants, is typical of the Tursan villages that give the Landes hinterland its charm. The village also has covered arenas that host another car boot sale in the spring. The proximity of Eugénie-les-Bains and Geaune allows visitors to combine their trip with discovering Tursan wines and Landes thermalism.

The exhibitor spot is offered at €3 per linear meter, tables not provided. Booking is mandatory with Élan Tursan Basket.
