42 years of Gascon tradition on the Promenades

Since 1985, the Gondrin Regional Products Fair has been an unmissable summer event in the Gers region. Every August 9th (or around that date), the Promenades of this Ténarèze bastide come alive with a dual event: on one hand, local producers present the finest Gascon regional products — Armagnac, Floc de Gascogne, foie gras, confits, cheeses, honey, Côtes de Gascogne wines — and on the other, the car boot sale attracts bargain hunters with its popular flea market stalls.

Gondrin, bastide of Ténarèze

Gondrin is a 13th-century bastide with 1,200 inhabitants, located in the heart of Ténarèze, one of the three historic terroirs of Armagnac. The village overlooks the Osse valley and offers a remarkable panorama of the surrounding vineyards. Its 14th-century fortified church and covered market bear witness to its past as a market town. Gondrin is also crossed by the Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle (Way of Le Puy), which gives it a dimension of passage and welcome.

A car boot sale in a setting of gastronomy

Gondrin's unique feature is its combination of a flea market with a true gastronomic fair. Visitors can alternate between browsing the car boot sale stalls — furniture, tableware, toys, linens, trinkets — and tasting the local products offered by producers. This dual program makes the day a complete experience, blending culinary pleasures with flea market finds.

Remarkable attendance

With its 42 years of history, the Gondrin fair attracts several thousand visitors each year, making this rural commune one of the major meeting points of the summer in Ténarèze. The festive atmosphere, musical entertainment, and tastings contribute to the reputation of this event, which resonates far beyond the borders of the Gers.
