Bargain hunting under the great trees of Pichery Park
Set around Château Pichery, a 19th-century building that now houses the Gaillac MJC, Pichery Park offers a rare setting for a flea market: shaded lawns, gravel paths, century-old trees. Each early summer, the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture hosts its annual bargain-hunting gathering, a fixture on the Gaillac calendar. The 2026 edition marks the 12th year.
Gaillac's most active community association, the MJC offers art workshops, language classes, sports, concerts and cultural events all year. The Pichery flea market, created by volunteers over a decade ago, funds these activities.
Between 50 and 100 spots reserved exclusively for private sellers. You will find flea market classics — clothing, toys, crockery, books, decor — as well as sharper bric-à -brac: vinyl records, comics, retro video games, 70s-80s objects, travel curios, old farming tools.
Extend your day in Gaillac: visit Saint-Michel Abbey, taste the red, white or perlé Gaillac wines in the town's cellars, or walk along the Tarn riverbanks.
