Garden sale in the grounds of the Jean-Frédéric Oberlin Museum in Waldersbach, Bruche valley
The gardens of the Jean-Frédéric Oberlin Museum in Waldersbach provide an exceptional setting for this annual garden sale. From 10 AM, gardening and botany enthusiasts gather to sell and exchange perennial plants, shrubs, heirloom seeds, garden tools, terracotta pots and garden decorations.
Waldersbach is a tiny mountain village of about 150 inhabitants nestled in the Bruche valley, in the heart of the Ban de la Roche. It is here that Pastor Jean-Frédéric Oberlin (1740-1826) devoted his life to education. The Oberlin Museum, classified as a Museum of France, traces his pioneering educational work.
