The associations Lifrat 04 and Apoapac are organizing a grand car boot sale on the Place du centre-ville in Banon. This event is distinct from the Super Déballage (organized by DVA) by its format exclusively oriented towards individuals and by the involvement of local associations.
Banon is a perched village in Haute-Provence famous for two treasures: its Banon AOP cheese, wrapped in chestnut leaves, and its Le Bleuet bookstore, a true cultural institution and one of the largest independent bookstores in France. The grand car boot sale is part of the cultural and friendly life of this charming village.
The Place du centre-ville of Banon, surrounded by stone houses and plane trees, offers an ideal setting for a car boot sale. Visitors can combine treasure hunting with village discovery: medieval alleys, fortified gate, and of course the famous Le Bleuet bookstore and its tens of thousands of books.
The grand car boot sale takes place from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Entry is free for visitors. The event is held several times a year, in spring and summer.
The grand car boot sale of Banon continues in 2026 on the Place du centre-ville.
