The Place de la République, in the heart of Banon, regularly hosts a Super Déballage organized by the DVA association. This treasure hunt event takes place in one of the most beautiful villages in Haute-Provence, famous worldwide for its Banon cheese, wrapped in chestnut leaves.
Banon is a typical hilltop village in Haute-Provence, with its narrow streets, stone houses, and breathtaking views of the Albion plateau and the Lure mountain. The village is also known for its bookstore Le Bleuet, one of the largest independent bookstores in France. The flea market is part of this cultural and friendly atmosphere.
Located between the Albion plateau and the Lure mountain, Banon benefits from an exceptional natural setting. Visitors to the Super Déballage can extend their day with a walk in the village or a discovery of the surrounding lavender landscapes.
Registration is mandatory and is done by phone at the indicated times. Stands with or without vehicles are offered according to demand. The event runs from 6 am to 4 pm, with free entry for visitors.
The Super Déballage of Banon continues in 2026 on the Place de la République.
