An authentic country car boot sale in a hamlet of Haute-Provence.
The Vivre ensemble à Montsalier association organizes a car boot sale every autumn in this tiny lost hamlet of the Montagne de Lure. Montsalier is one of the smallest villages in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, making its car boot sale all the more precious and authentic.
The exhibitor price of 2.50 euros per linear meter is one of the lowest in the department. This accessible pricing policy reflects the spirit of friendliness and sharing that animates this small mountain village. Registration and payment must be made before the event.
Montsalier is a hamlet perched on the mountainside, between the Plateau d'Albion and the Montagne de Lure. Its few dozen inhabitants live in a preserved natural setting, amidst lavender fields and oak forests. The car boot sale is one of the few events that enliven this timeless place.
The association's volunteers offer refreshments and food on site, ensuring the conviviality of this country day. The car boot sale is held from 7 am to 5 pm in the village streets.
The Montsalier car boot sale returns in September 2026.
