The Sainte-Brigitte festival committee organizes its annual car boot sale on the communal ground, at 14 rue de l'Église. The event starts at 8 a.m. with the setup of the exhibitors. In the afternoon, at 2:30 p.m., a Breton boules competition in doubles completes the program. Catering and refreshments are available on-site throughout the day.
Sainte-Brigitte is one of the smallest villages in Morbihan with only 178 inhabitants. Nestled in the heart of the mysterious Quénécan forest, nicknamed the "little Breton Switzerland," the village stretches across nearly 3,000 hectares of rolling woodland. Lake Guerlédan, the largest artificial lake in Brittany, is in the immediate vicinity. The village's history is marked by the old forges that operated until 1880.
The Sainte-Brigitte car boot sale is a human-sized event, set in an exceptional natural setting. The rural atmosphere and the Breton boules competition make it a moment of conviviality appreciated by the inhabitants of the Guerlédan area.
