Briey is a city with remarkable heritage: its medieval center, perched on a promontory, preserves vestiges of fortifications and old houses. The city is also famous for Le Corbusier's Radiant City, the UnitΓ© d'habitation built in the 1960s, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This contrast between medieval history and modernist architecture makes Val de Briey an original destination for heritage and treasure hunting enthusiasts.
The Val de Briey Car Boot Sale is a family-friendly and convivial event. Refreshments and food are available on site, allowing visitors to spend a full day treasure hunting and enjoying the atmosphere. Residents from neighboring communes gather for this occasion, contributing to the liveliness and social connection in this territory with a transforming industrial past.
