A festive weekend at the Dormants stadium

The festival committee of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil organizes a festive weekend every summer at the Dormants stadium. On Saturday evening, from 7 p.m., a convivial evening offers a mussel and fries or sausage and fries meal (€15), accompanied by an orchestra. The evening continues with a popular ball and spectacular fireworks. On Sunday, the stadium hosts a large car boot sale open to all, with pitches at 5 euros for 5 meters, no reservation required.

Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, a wine-growing terroir of excellence

Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil is a town of about 1,200 inhabitants located in the northwest of Indre-et-Loire. It is renowned for its AOC Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil vineyard, one of the most prestigious appellations in the Loire Valley, producing red and rosé wines from Cabernet Franc.
