The Royal Abbey Saint-Pierre de Bourgueil, founded in 990 by the Counts of Anjou, is one of the most remarkable monuments of Touraine. Its conventual buildings, cloister, and gardens form an exceptional setting for the flea market. Bourgueil, a renowned wine town famous for its red cabernet franc wines (AOC Bourgueil), is located in the World Heritage listed Loire Valley. The flea market is an opportunity to discover this heritage while treasure hunting.

Brocante Abbaye Bourgueil — edition 2026
The Brocante de l'Abbaye de Bourgueil returns from July 27th to August 2nd, 2026 for several days of treasure hunting in the exceptional setting of the Royal Abbey of Bourgueil (Indre-et-Loire). During these days, exhibitors set up their flea market and antique stalls in the cloister, where bargain hunters and visitors come to unearth old furniture, faience, silverware, antique books, and curiosities.
Organized at the Royal Abbey of Bourgueil, this antique flea market is part of the abbey's festive days: beyond the flea market stalls set up in the cloister, the event offers tours of the abbey and its gardens, games and entertainment, as well as a refreshment stand and on-site catering in a friendly and musical atmosphere.
