Grand annual flea market on the Place des Halles and in the streets of Bourgueil, heart of the vineyards
The annual flea market of Bourgueil takes over the Place des Halles and surrounding streets every summer. The Place des Halles, reserved primarily for professional exhibitors, hosts dealers offering antique furniture, earthenware, tableware, trinkets, tools, books, and decorative items. The adjacent streets are open to all exhibitors, including private individuals, who offer a wide variety of second-hand items. The event takes place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Bourgueil is a town of about 4,000 inhabitants located in northwestern Indre-et-Loire, on the right bank of the Loire. The town is world-renowned for its AOC Bourgueil vineyards, which produce some of the most reputable Cabernet Franc red wines in the Loire Valley. The town center retains interesting architectural heritage with its Benedictine abbey, its market halls, and its tuffeau stone houses. The proximity of the vineyards adds further appeal to this summer flea market.
The Bourgueil flea market benefits from the town's reputation and its location at the crossroads of Touraine and Anjou. For any information or registration, contact Pierre Bardet at 06 26 46 50 16 or by email at [email protected].
