The Sèpmes flea market is an event firmly rooted in the calendar of flea markets in southern Touraine. Each year, around 200 exhibitors set up in the main streets and village squares to offer antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, books, tools, toys, clothing, embroidered linens, vinyl records, and various collectible items. The scale of the event and the quality of the stalls attract bargain hunters from all over southern Touraine.
Sèpmes (37800) is a commune in the south of Touraine, located between Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine and Descartes, in a landscape of limestone plateaus interspersed with small valleys. The village is situated on the historic route connecting Tours to Poitou, which explains the richness of its built heritage. The Romanesque church of Sèpmes, the old tuffeau farms, and the washhouses form an architectural ensemble typical of this southern Touraine region. The area is renowned for its livestock farming and the production of Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine AOC cheese.
The Sèpmes flea market offers a carousel for children, a refreshment stand, and food stalls on-site. Admission is free.
The Sèpmes flea market returns in 2026 with around 200 exhibitors.
