Village flea market in Bossée, a small village on the Sainte-Maure plateau in Touraine
The Brocante de Bossée brings together bargain hunters and exhibitors in this small village on the Sainte-Maure plateau, in the heart of southern Touraine, for a day of spring treasure hunting in a preserved rural setting.
The Brocante de Bossée transforms the center of this Touraine village into an open-air market where exhibitors offer rustic furniture, crockery, antique tools, books, toys, linens, clothing, trinkets, and various flea market items. This spring event attracts bargain hunters from the surrounding areas, happy to find great treasures in the peaceful atmosphere of this small rural village.
Bossée is a small commune of about 500 inhabitants located on the plateau de Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine, between the valleys of the Indre and the Vienne. This limestone plateau, a land of goat farming, is the birthplace of the famous Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine cheese, a jewel of Touraine gastronomy. The village retains a small Romanesque church and authentic rural heritage, away from the main tourist routes.
The flea market is accompanied by a refreshment stand and on-site catering. Admission is free for visitors.
The Brocante de Bossée returns on May 3, 2026.
