A village flea market at the heart of the Comtat
Aubignan, a small wine village of the Comtat Venaissin, held its traditional spring flea market on Sunday 12 April 2026. In this authentic village of 5,500 inhabitants, between Carpentras to the south and the Dentelles de Montmirail to the north, the event gathered private sellers, local associations and regional bargain hunters.
An authentic village spirit
The Aubignan flea-market stalls displayed typical Comtat bric-a-brac: Provençal tableware, clothes, books, toys, trinkets, old tools and household linen.
Aubignan, between vines and lavender
Aubignan lies in the Ventoux wine country, with vines classified AOC Ventoux and AOC Côtes du Rhône. The village retains its narrow lanes, stone houses, clock tower and Saint-Victor church.

2026 Edition Review
Aubignan hosted its traditional spring flea market on Sunday 12 April 2026, the village buzzing with the typical atmosphere of Comtat bargain-hunting gatherings. Stalls set up in the morning displayed the usual cellar-and-attic bric-a-brac: tableware, clothes, books, toys, small furniture and trinkets.
Early bargain hunters enjoyed the first hours to find the most interesting pieces, while the relaxed midday atmosphere under a bright April sun encouraged strolling and conversation around the refreshment stand.
