For over 25 years, the Black Panthers de Brocéliande car boot sale has enlivened Ascension Day in Bréal-sous-Montfort. Approximately 400 exhibitors, mostly individuals, take over the village streets to offer clothes, toys, books, furniture, tableware, and various objects. The event opens as early as 7 am and continues until 6 pm, allowing early birds and afternoon strollers alike to find their treasures. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, reflecting the peaceful nature of this town in the Montfort region.

Baseball serving the community

The Black Panthers de Brocéliande are the baseball and softball club of Bréal-sous-Montfort and Plélan-le-Grand. This car boot sale is one of their main sources of funding, helping to support youth and senior teams, purchase equipment, and finance competition travel. Club volunteers ensure the organization is run professionally: welcoming exhibitors, on-site catering with a refreshment stand and galettes-saucisses (sausage crepes), and online ticketing for booking pitches.
