The May Bonnieux Brocante Fair is the second stop on Joël Sechi's annual Bonnieux calendar. It takes place on Place du Terrail, a character space right by the medieval high church, offering an exceptional heritage setting.

Bonnieux, perched village of character

Bonnieux, rising on the northern slope of the Grand Luberon, offers a unique panorama: stone houses climb in terraces crowned by the 12th-century high church and its fine stations of the cross. A Most Beautiful Village of France, it draws filmmakers, writers and lovers of authentic Provence. Place du Terrail, shaded and accessible, provides the perfect setting.

Under Joël Sechi, a respected Provençal brocante professional, the fair gathers carefully chosen exhibitors. Expect old Provençal furniture, Moustiers and Apt ceramics, paintings, engravings, Biot glass, lamps, jewellery, antique linen, copper and curiosities.

Combine hunting and discovery

Visiting Bonnieux offers the chance to explore the village and surroundings: Cistercian Sénanque Abbey (famous lavender fields), Lacoste Castle ruins (former Marquis de Sade estate, now Pierre Cardin's summer residence), cedar forest, Roman Pont Julien. A hunt followed by heritage rambling in the spring Luberon.
