The Car boot sale of the Dervois Firefighters of Montier-en-Der (52220) is organized every year on May 8th by the Amicale des Sapeurs-Pompiers Dervois. It is held on the exceptional site of the Hippodrome de la Crouee, the Montier-en-Der racecourse which hosts renowned horse racing.
Montier-en-Der is the capital of the Pays du Der, a natural region of Haute-Marne known for the Lac du Der-Chantecoq, the largest artificial lake in France, and for its International Festival of Animal and Nature Photography. This flea market event is part of the festive and associative life of this dynamic commune in the Pays du Der.
