The La Chapelle-sur-Loire flea market takes over the village center of this Loire Valley village for a summer day of treasure hunting. Exhibitors offer furniture, tableware, garden tools, toys, clothing, books, trinkets, antique linens, copperware, and various flea market items. The village, bathed in the light of the Loire, offers an enchanting setting for strolling among the stalls and finding beautiful treasures.
La Chapelle-sur-Loire is a village of about 1,500 inhabitants located on the right bank of the Loire, between Bourgueil and Langeais. Formerly a village of boatmen who sailed the river, La Chapelle retains the memory of this river activity in its heritage and traditions. The village is bordered by the vineyards of the AOC Bourgueil and offers beautiful panoramas of the Loire and its sandbanks. The proximity of the Château de Langeais and the region's troglodyte caves enrich the visit.
Admission is free. A refreshment stand and food service are available on site.
The La Chapelle-sur-Loire flea market returns in June 2026.
