The brocante of Foncine-le-Haut: the big meeting place for bargain hunters in the Haut-Jura

Each year around July 14th, the village of Foncine-le-Haut transforms into a huge open-air market. The Grande Rue, the main street of the town, hosts nearly 200 exhibitors who set up their stalls over several hundred meters. This flea market has become over the years one of the most important in the Jura department.

The exhibitors, a mix of individuals and local artisans, offer a wide variety of goods: antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, vintage clothing, toys, tools, books, and all sorts of objects. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, between the pleasure of bargain hunting and summer reunions in this mountain village.

The association La Sarra'joie

The event is organized by the association La Sarra'joie, very active in the associative life of Foncine-le-Haut. The association provides a refreshment stand with coffee, tea, cold drinks, and beer, as well as a fast-food stand offering fries, sandwiches, and crepes. Enough to regain strength between two finds.
