Annual flea market in the hamlet of Spada, municipality of Lamorville in the Meuse
For three decades, the hamlet of Spada, part of the commune of Lamorville, has hosted a flea market every Whit Monday that has become a local institution. Organized by the Amicale des fêtes et loisirs de Spada, this event brings together about a hundred exhibitors and attracts many bargain hunters from the surrounding area.
Spada is a small hamlet nestled in the Meuse countryside, accessible from the RD 964 connecting Saint-Mihiel to Verdun. 7 km from Saint-Mihiel and 2 km from the departmental road, it is reached by turning right after the Bonduelle factory. The rural and green setting offers an ideal backdrop for a day of outdoor treasure hunting.
The exhibitor fee is particularly attractive: 1 euro per meter by reservation, with coffee offered by the association. Exhibitors can set up from 5:30 AM, and free parking is provided behind the pitches. Individuals and professionals are welcome to offer flea market items, antiques, and car boot sale items.
Entry is free for visitors. Food and drinks are available on-site by the association, allowing for a full day in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere. The Amicale des fêtes et loisirs de Spada works throughout the year to bring together young and old for various activities, and the annual flea market is the highlight.
