Every May 8th, a public holiday, the commune of Basse-Ham hosts its flea market and craft fair. More than 200 exhibitors – flea market dealers, artisans, and individuals – set up in the village streets to offer an exceptionally diverse range: decorative objects, furniture, games and toys, books, clothing, local crafts, and unusual items.

Basse-Ham is a small village of about 1,500 inhabitants located along the Moselle river, between Thionville and Cattenom. Its position on the waterway makes it a natural transit point, and its flea market benefits from this prime geographical location.
