Each year in June, the streets of the center of Cattenom are transformed to host the Estivales, a festive event that combines a large car boot sale with musical, cultural, and family entertainment. The event, organized by the Aïkido Club de Cattenom and local associations, has become a must-attend event in Cattenom life.

A lively flea market in the village streets

The flea market is set up in the streets of the center, around Rue des Châteaux. Between 100 and 200 exhibitors offer trinkets, antique objects, clothing, books, and various treasures. The treasure hunting route is punctuated by street musicians, food stalls run by associations, and various demonstrations.

A rich program of entertainment

Beyond the flea market, the Estivales offer a complete program: pony and carriage rides, 2CV tours, boat trips, children's shows, inflatable games, artisan market, exhibitions, and, of course, evening concerts. Food provided by local associations offers Lorraine specialties and grilled meats.
