Each year in June, the streets of the center of Cattenom are transformed to host the Estivales, a festive event that combines a large car boot sale with musical, cultural, and family entertainment. The event, organized by the Aïkido Club de Cattenom and local associations, has become a must-attend event in Cattenom life.
A lively flea market in the village streets
The flea market is set up in the streets of the center, around Rue des Châteaux. Between 100 and 200 exhibitors offer trinkets, antique objects, clothing, books, and various treasures. The treasure hunting route is punctuated by street musicians, food stalls run by associations, and various demonstrations.
A rich program of entertainment
Beyond the flea market, the Estivales offer a complete program: pony and carriage rides, 2CV tours, boat trips, children's shows, inflatable games, artisan market, exhibitions, and, of course, evening concerts. Food provided by local associations offers Lorraine specialties and grilled meats.
Estivales de Cattenom — edition 2026
The Estivales 2 Cattenom 2026 flea market takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 8 AM to 5 PM, in the town center streets (rue des Châteaux and surroundings), at the heart of the town's festive weekend (June 13 and 14). Organized by the Aïkido Club de Cattenom, it brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors (individuals and professionals) on pitches at 2€/m without a vehicle or 3€/m with a vehicle (minimum 5m). Free entry for visitors. Catering, restrooms, parking, and entertainment on site.
The 2026 edition confirmed for June 13 and 14
The 2026 edition of Estivales 2 Cattenom is confirmed by the town hall for the weekend of June 13 and 14, 2026. The flea market/car boot sale part, managed by the Aïkido Club de Cattenom, takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 8 AM to 5 PM for visitors (exhibitor setup from 6 AM). Vehicles must be parked before 8 AM.
A flea market in the heart of the village
As every year, the car boot sale sets up in the streets of Cattenom town center, around rue des Châteaux. Between 100 and 200 exhibitors offer trinkets, antique objects, clothes, books, toys, and artisanal creations. The browsing route is punctuated by street music, food stalls run by local associations, and various entertainments.
Exhibitor registration and prices
Pitches are sold at 2€ per linear meter without a vehicle (minimum 2 meters deep) or 3€ per meter with a vehicle (minimum 5 meters, 3.5m deep). In 2026, the flea market is fully booked for exhibitors several weeks before the event. Registrations are made via the Aïkido Club de Cattenom and the town hall at 03 82 82 57 00.
An extended festive weekend
Sunday's flea market is part of the broader program of Estivales 2 Cattenom 2026 (Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14): free concerts, pony rides, carriage and 2CV rides, boat trips, shows, children's games, local produce and craft market, flower market, exhibitions, open stage, and catering provided by local associations. New for 2026: a color run accessible to all upon registration.
